Kristin Middleton

Raised in Albuquerque, New Mexico, Kristin graduated from Albuquerque Academy and New Mexico State University. A self-proclaimed Renaissance woman, she pursued careers in sales, writing and marketing, then started up a thriving home care company in the Denver area, which she owned for ten years.

Although Kristin has written professionally on occasion, the execution of this memoir  was particular straining on her. The subject matter was intensely overwhelming to basically recreate and "live through" again.

At the time the memoir was written she worked as the Executive Director of the Domestic Violence Resource Center in Albuquerque.

Having done all of the hard work involved in healing, nowadays Kristin can be found back in Colorado with her family. She enjoys hanging with her standard poodle, Joy, doing some fly fishing, writing poetry and dabbling with different art mediums. She is thinking about continuing the memoir, if there is interest from those who read this debut.

A life spent making mistakes is not only more honourable, but more useful, than a life spent doing nothing.
